A job fair will be held on Mar. 21 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Students who help organize the event can earn volunteer hours.

Hours can be received by participating in a phone bank, where students call businesses and check on the status of their participation in the fair, or a student can put up flyers throughout the community as part of the marketing and public relations team.  Students can obtain these opportunities throughout the month of February after school.

During the actual event, students can volunteer as greeters, hostesses or runners. Shift times at the event will range from  3 p.m. to 8:30 pm.

“We hope that we can put a lot of our community back to work as everyone knows it’s a hard economical time,” Business and Finance Assistant Principal Vallorie Mason said. “We hope that this fair will be a huge success.”
