On Jan. 26 the choir students competed at Cypress Springs High School for UIL in solo and ensemble. The choir students earned a total of 123 first division superior medals. 38 first division superior class III medals, 40 first division superior class II medals and 45 first division superior class I were earned.

“I had to practice my ensemble in class but I’d practice my solo at home for like 30min,” Sophomore Mindy Lee said. “ I was nervous to at first to compete with the pressure then I felt calm.”
