Senior Alyssa Cooke is the winner of a Prom ticket raffle put on by Cy Creek’s yearbook department. To enter the raffle, students had to purchase a yearbook senior recognition by Feb. 10.

Cooke is very glad that she was chosen as the winner.

“I’m very happy,” Cooke said. “I love winning things and this was a free $70. I don’t win raffles very often, so this was a nice surprise.”

Cooke is most looking forward to dressing up and hanging out with her friends.

“I’ve always looked forward to Prom,” Cooke said. “Dressing up and hanging out with friends is my idea of a good time, and Prom memories are ones that stay with you for a while.”

She is excited for dancing at Prom, as well as getting to wear her Prom dress.

“I really look forward to dancing,” Cooke said. “Of course, the expensive dress is also a bonus.”
