Senior sunrise for Cy Creek’s class of 2023 will take place on Sept. 7 on the football field outside the Lego gym from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m.

Senior sunrise will be one of the many senior-exclusive events students will get to experience throughout the school year.

“The senior sunrise is a yearly event where all seniors get together to watch the sunrise to commemorate the start of their last year in high school,” senior class assistant, Victoria Okoli, said. “You can expect to hang out with friends, eat, and have a great time.”

Student Council has coordinated the event taking place next week.

“About two or three weeks of planning went into the sunrise; that includes acquiring the football field, date and time, and the food truck,” Okoli said.

The event itself is free, but students may bring money for the food truck.
